"We all loved Cayo Villa.  It is quite lovely. The sun on the lanai is wonderful and the house is very pretty.  We discovered that the Gulf water was actually 85/86 F and it was perfect.  Early in the week, our son-in-law, who grew up in Sarasota, introduced us to South Lido Beach where we had never been before (in all our 24 years of going to the Ruskin/Bradenton area).  We picked up sea urchins (the 8 year old was ecstatic) on the bay side beach and coral, sand dollars, olives, fighting conchs galore, whelks, and lots of other shells on the gulf side beach.  What fun.  If you are ever in the Coquina/Bradenton Beach area, we DO most enthusiastically recommend Joe's Eats & Sweets, on Gulf Dr., for their homemade ice cream.  If you like coconut - it is absolutely the BEST ice cream ever!   None of all of that would have been very much fun if we hadn't had a wonderful house to go back to at the end of each day.  Your house is, again, lovely, and we certainly enjoyed being there.  Thanks so much."

The weather for the first 2 weeks while the family were with us was perfect.  As you had promised, the pool was warm, and we were able to swim early on the first morning.  We appreciated the fact that you had provided containers for grocery use and that people before us had left washing up liquid etc. We have left such items as well, to help your next visitors.  We went to Miguels, a French restaurant. Fantastic.  If you are there between 5pm and 6pm you get a 4 course meal for the price of the entree. We have left the details and a menu in your folder. We all had a lovely holiday, and cannot thank you enough for providing such a well equipped house.  When we asked our grand-daughter what she would tell her teacher about the holiday, she said without hesitation 'the pool'."
